1 System and update
1.1 Why does my HUAWEI MediaPad T1 8.0 constantly
crash?
If you install applications that have not passed the Google compatibility test on your
HUAWEI MediaPad T1 8.0, the system may be unstable or even crash.
It is recommended that you download applications only from the Play Store.
If your HUAWEI MediaPad T1 8.0 is experiencing frequent crashes, perform a hard restart by
pressing and holding the power button for about 10 seconds.
1.2 Will data be erased if I update my HUAWEI MediaPad
T1 8.0?
Updating your HUAWEI MediaPad T1 8.0 using a downloaded update package will erase
some personal data, such as your accounts, custom settings, installed applications, contacts,
messages, email settings, browsing history, and bookmarks, but videos and images you saved
on your HUAWEI MediaPad T1 8.0 will not be erased. This method is not recommended.
Performing the online update over your HUAWEI MediaPad T1 8.0 will not erase your
personal data and is recommended. For details, see the version description.
To avoid loss of important data, it is recommended that you back up your data before updating
your HUAWEI MediaPad T1 8.0.
